Q: What do I need in order to use a femtocell?
A: You need a broadband connection (e.g. DSL) to use a femtocell. You also need a 2G or 3G mobile phone.

Q: What mobile handsets will work with the femtocell?
A: All current models of 2G or 3G GSM mobile handset can be used with the femtocell.

Q: How many calls can take place over the HSL 2.75G Femtocell?
A: 7 or more calls can take place at the same time.

Q: How many mobile users can be covered by the femtocell?
A: The femtocell can cover as many mobile users as are able to fit within the range of the femtocell.

Q: Can I send and receive SMS text messages and photo/picture messages (i.e. MMS) via the femtocell?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I use email from my phone via the femtocell?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I surf the Internet via the femtocell?
A: Yes. For watching video you may wish to use Wi-Fi if available in your home or office.

Q: How long does the femtocell take to set-up?
A: Less than 5 minutes from opening the box to providing mobile coverage.

Q: How far away from the femtocell can I be and still use it?

A: Up to 30 metres indoors. 50+ metres outdoors (with femtocell indoors).

Q: When will you let me know when I can buy a femtocell?
A: When your mobile network becomes available for use our femtocell we will email and/or text you to let you know. You can then proceed to purchase a femtocell if you then wish.

Q: How much will the femtocell cost?
A: Pricing is not yet available.
